Frosty Farky - September 29 & 30, 2007Submitted by Judy Anderson Cold, a true Frosty Farky, this summed up the match this year! This didn’t deter 30 shooters from coming out, filling the match to capacity again this year. There were even a few people turned away. Competitors came from Vancouver Island, the lower mainland, Alberta and locally. The ages ranged from 11 to 82 years, and both male and female. The caliber of shooting was awesome. Even with range conditions as they were, shooters turned out near perfect scores every time in the F-class Class. Of honorable mention was Ian Hames 150 with 15x, his first possible. Ian was presented with his target face at the end of the match. Local newcomers, Richard Dreger and Marc Thibault scored high over the weekend. Pierre and Christa Dorian also had a fun time at the Bench rest portion of the match. Complete results are in the table below. Much thanks to Paul Reibin who gave up his place at shooting to be Range Officer all weekend. What a wonderful job he did too! Thanks to Mark Anderson-Match Director, Tim Mann for doing Stats, and Al Katona for the “Hungarian Goulash”; as well as, everyone who brought food to the pot luck. We had a Great Butts crew again this year, Danny Vye, Jenna and Emily Roberts, Phil Parks, Amy Debert, and Luc Thibault! Well done all!
